The Lawrence Board of REALTORS® and the Lawrence Multiple Listing Service have a few membership options available, as shown above. Please contact our office at admin@lawrencerealtor.com or call 785.842.1843 for more information or to request Membership Application Documents.

Dues for the membership year beginning January 1, 2024, are due and payable on or before January 1, 2024, and are delinquent January 11, 2024. Any member board or individual member submitting dues after February 14, 2024, for an existing member as of January 1, 2024, shall be assessed an additional KAR late fee of $10.00 per member. The membership of any member delinquent in payment of such dues on March 31, 2024, shall automatically terminate on April 1, 2024 New member dues are assessed from the date of licensure.

MLS Fees: All licensees with access to the MLS are required to pay MLS Fees. MLS Fees are due and payable on or before January 1 and July 1 of each year. Fees are delinquent if not paid by the due date. Subscribers owing Fees more than 10 days following the due date will incur a $100 reactivation/late charge, and MLS privileges will be suspended. Participants (Brokers) who are delinquent will cause the suspension of MLS privileges for all Subscribers (Agents) in their company.  MLS fees are non-refundable.

2020/2021 NAR Special Assessment: The Special Assessment for the Consumer Advertising Campaign (formerly known as Public Awareness Campaign) is $45 for 2024. The assessment is billed to all active REALTOR® and REALTOR® Associate members through their primary local association and is due and owing to NAR by Jan. 1. This assessment is not pro-rated. New members will owe the full $45 when joining NAR. The Consumer Advertising Campaign special assessment is not charged to Institute Affiliate members, nor is it charged for non-members salespersons. It is also not charged for National REALTOR® Emeritus.

KAR Issues Mobilization Fund (IMF): IMF is used to support or oppose statewide issues that impact real property or REALTORS® in Kansas. It shall also support grassroots lobbying and educational efforts related to those objectives. IMF funds shall not be use for support of candidates or for any purpose prohibited by federal, state or local law. IMF will promote and strive for the improvement of government by encouraging and stimulating the public to take a more active and effective part in governmental affairs.
