July 27, 2021 UPDATE:
On Tuesday, July 27th, Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health issued a statement in support of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's newest recommendation that everyone 2 and older, even those fully vaccinated, wear masks in indoor public spaces, including K-12 schools.
As a result, we are now requiring masks to be worn indoors at the LBOR Office. Signs have been placed on the doors of the LBOR Office, and masks are available for visitors if needed. The LBOR office remains open between 8 am-4 pm each weekday, and existing meetings will occur as planned, although masks will be required.
