The Lawrence REALTORS® Community Foundation has supported local charitable organizations through programs that help stabilize "at-risk" households in Douglas County. Everyone should have an opportunity to have a safe place to call home.

Since becoming a 501(c)(3) in July 2018, the Lawrence REALTORS® Community Foundation has awarded over $309,000 to support over 25 local housing programs, including over $52,000 in housing assistance following the 2019 tornado that hit Douglas County.

Past recipients include 100 Good Women, Artists Helping the Homeless, Ballard Center, Cardinal Housing Network, Catholic Charities, DCCCA, Eudora Schools Foundation, Family Promise of Lawrence, Foster Village Northeast Kansas, Housing & Credit Counseling, Insight Women's Center, Lawrence Community Shelter, Lawrence & Douglas County Housing Authority, Lawrence Habitat for Humanity, Lawrence Schools Foundation IC.A.N. Program, Mirror Inc, O'Connell Children's Shelter, Ready for Good, Saleh Home - Insight Women's Center, Salvation Army of Douglas County, Senior Resource Center, Social Service League, Tenants to Homeowners, Warm Hearts of Douglas County, and Willow Domestic Violence Center.
